岩画是人类所见事物和视觉全景最早的表达之一，岩画中的信息和观念本身就是一个极为庞大的数据库，它们以图像与符号的方式提供了有关当时的社会规范、信仰、仪式、工具、生存和动植物的第一手资料。研究岩画对于了解早期人类的生存状况、生产方式、社会制度，尤其是宗教信仰以及思维方式都有重要意义。张亚莎教授是我国著名的岩画研究专家，曾任中国岩画研究中心主任，现任联合国教科文组织岩画国际科学委员会专家委员，编、著有《西藏美术史》《西藏的岩画》《原始艺术》《中国美术全集——岩画版画卷》等，对青藏高原岩画、中国西南岩画以及旧石器时期岩画研究作出了重要贡献，搭建了岩画研究的团队和理论雏形，更在中国岩画研究与世界岩画研究接轨的道路上进行了积极的铺垫。文章就张亚莎教授的学术经历，以及从美术史转向岩画研究，突破岩画研究的方法论局限，将不同区域、历史时期的岩画关系融会贯通，形成更为整体的视野等方面进行了专访。

Rock art is of great significance because it is humanity's earliest expressions of visual experience and panoramic perception. The information and concepts contained in rock art constitute a vast database. They provide firsthand information about social norms, beliefs, rituals, tools, existence, flora and fauna of the time through images and symbols. Studying rock art is crucial for understanding the living conditions, modes of production, social systems, especially religious beliefs and ways of thinking of early humans. Professor Zhang Yasha is a renowned expert in rock art research in China, formerly serving as Director of the Chinese Rock Art Research Center and currently as an expert member of UNESCO's International Scientific Committee on Rock Art. She has authored and edited numerous works, including History of Xizang's Art, Rock Art of Xizang, Primitive Art, and the Rock Art Volume of the Complete Collection of Chinese Art, making significant contributions to the research of rock art on the Qinghai-Xizang Plateau and in Southwest China, as well as the rock art of the Paleolithic period.She not only established a research team and theoretical framework for rock art studies, but also actively paved the way for Chinese rock art research to integrate with international standards. She has edited and published numerous books and papers, and led her team in actively expanding rock art excavation and research across various regions. She is a leading figure in Chinese rock art research. This paper features an interview with Professor Zhang Yasha about her research experience, academic viewpoints, research insights, and theoretical methods.
